Summary
This position is responsible for the day to day information systems operations for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Sky Ute Casino Resort, and Southern Ute Growth Fund including: enterprise systems administration, database management, data security and cybersecurity operations, telecommunications, desktop services, enterprise application administration, wireless networks, email administration, local/wide/storage area networks, and hybrid cloud environments. Responsible for enterprise systems operations, enterprise data governance, and coordination of customer support across multiple business entities. The role also encompasses the strategic vision to identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics that drive operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and create measurable value across the organization.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field and fifteen years applicable and progressively responsible experience in IT operations
OR
- Associate’s degree Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field and seventeen years applicable and progressively responsible experience in IT operations is required.
- Must have ten years managing IT operations in a multi-entity or multi-business environment with distinct compliance requirements including help desk, desktop support, network, server, or database teams, to include mentoring and coaching team members. Experience.
- Must have experience with enterprise network design and industry best practices in a hybrid cloud environment including security, high availability and disaster recovery implementation.
- Must have experience managing data center infrastructure in support of enterprise level applications such as Oracle PeopleSoft, WorkDay or equivalent ERP platforms
