Role Description
We are seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain Management for a part-time, on-site position based in San Jose, CA. The VP will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including demand planning, logistics, and materials management. Responsibilities include optimizing supply chain strategies, improving operational efficiency, and driving cost-effective logistics solutions to support the company’s goals. Additionally, the VP will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution and align with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Demand Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and efficient inventory management.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Operations and Supply Chain Management to oversee end-to-end processes effectively.
- Strong skills in Logistics Management for ensuring timely delivery and efficient distribution of products.
- Experience in Materials Management, including procurement and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Previous experience in a senior supply chain leadership role within a retail or luxury goods environment is preferred.
