We are seeking a Freight Optimization Analyst to support freight operations and transportation performance across the supply chain network. This role will focus on auditing import documentation and freight data using Power BI, while ensuring compliance with U.S. trade regulations, brokerage processes, and customs requirements.
The analyst will work closely with logistics, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to analyze transportation data, maintain reporting dashboards, validate freight invoices, and support freight cost optimization initiatives.
This position is 100% on-site in Orlando, FL and supports a global supply chain network responsible for aviation aftermarket products and services.

Location: Orlando, FL (100% On-site)
Schedule: 40 hours/week | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension or Conversion)
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and review import documentation and freight records for accuracy and compliance
- Analyze transportation and logistics data to support freight optimization initiatives
- Maintain Power BI dashboards and transportation performance reports
- Monitor freight cost trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Support freight invoice validation and discrepancy resolution with carriers or freight forwarders
- Assist with Duty Drawback documentation and regulatory compliance activities
- Prepare operational reports for logistics and supply chain decision-making
- Support internal and external audits related to transportation operations
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams on freight initiatives
- Maintain transportation documentation and support process improvement projects
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Experience analyzing transportation or freight operational data
- Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, trade compliance, or brokerage processes
- Power BI experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced supply chain environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international shipping processes and Incoterms
- Exposure to freight audit, freight cost analysis, or transportation reporting
- Experience supporting logistics optimization or process improvement initiatives
