We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Vice President, Technology to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of
Enterprise and Arena Technology for
Player 15 Group. This executive will oversee both business technology operations and venue technology systems that power game presentation and live event experiences.
Enterprise Technology includes corporate systems, helpdesk, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and business platforms.
Arena Technology includes all game presentation and event technology systems, including lighting, sound, broadcast/AV, visual boards, production systems, and arena-wide network infrastructure.
This leader will play a critical role in advancing innovation, operational excellence, security, and fan experience.
What You Will Do
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for Enterprise and Arena Technology, aligning investments with fan experience, business operations, innovation, and security priorities
- Oversee all corporate IT functions including helpdesk, infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and business applications
- Lead Arena Technology operations including game presentation systems, lighting, sound, broadcast/AV, LED and visual board systems, control rooms, and event network infrastructure
- Partner cross-functionally with Basketball Operations, Business Operations, Game Presentation, Facilities, and Executive Leadership to deliver seamless technology performance on game nights and live events
- Design and recommend scalable, secure, and forward-thinking technology solutions that support executive strategy and organizational growth
- Develop and enforce technology governance, cybersecurity protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans across both enterprise and venue environments
- Develop, track, and manage the annual operating and capital budgets for Enterprise and Arena Technology, including risk assessment.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of systems that support fan experience, revenue generation, and internal operations
- Lead and mentor Enterprise and Arena Technology teams, building a high-performance, service-oriented culture focused on innovation and accountability
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Need From Our Vice President, Technology
- Proven senior technology leadership experience in a complex, customer-facing organization; professional sports, live entertainment, or venue experience strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and helpdesk operations
- Experience overseeing venue or live event technology systems including AV, broadcast, lighting, sound, LED/visual boards, and network infrastructure
- A visionary and forward-thinking leader with the ability to translate innovation into operational execution
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success aligning technology strategy with organizational growth and revenue objectives
- Proven experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder partnership skills
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, live-event environments
- Lead a large team of diverse team members.
Experience/ Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred) or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
