MIJO is looking for a high-agency Project Manager / Operations Lead to serve as our operational backbone.
In just one year, MIJO has grown to a team of 15, partnering with major tech brands, NBA-related apparel companies, and community-driven banks. We are at a pivotal scaling point. We need a leader who can bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and day-to-day creative execution.
Reporting directly to the CEO and CCO, you will own the "how" of the agency—managing our systems, our team, and our profitability.
The Role
This isn’t just about checking boxes; it’s about building the engine. You will:
• Be a Strategic Partner: Translate the founders' vision into actionable plans and lead the charge when they are focused on growth.
• Optimize the Machine: Audit and refine workflows across creative and video production to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Lead a Global Team: Manage and mentor our remote PM team in Argentina, ensuring they are fully integrated into our NYC culture and standards.
• Oversee Production: Work alongside Video Production to manage resource allocation and ensure quality stays high as we scale.
• Master the Logic: Partner with our fractional CFO on budgets and SOWs, while supervising our junior staff on administrative execution.
Who You Are
• Experienced: 6–8 years in a leadership or Senior PM role within a fast-paced creative agency or video production house.
• High-Agency: You don’t wait for a manual; you identify gaps and fill them. You thrive in the "grey area" of a growing business.
• The "Creative-Operator": You are detail-obsessed and process-driven, but you speak the language of creatives. You know how to hold a team accountable while maintaining a partnership-first culture.
• Local-ish: This is a full-time, hybrid role based in NYC.
