Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, polyglot Software and Infrastructure Engineer and Leader with broad and deep expertise across modern infrastructure domains. As a Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer & Delivery Lead, you will sit at the forefront of technological evolution across Identity & Access Management, Linux Compute, Service Discovery, Networking, Observability, SDLC, and Storage—built primarily on AWS and Linux.
In this role, you will own delivery end‑to‑end, both by leading others and by making high‑impact individual contributions. You will help design, build, and operate the foundational systems that power a global SaaS, API‑driven ecosystem. Engineers in this environment operate with high agency, systems thinking, and a strong sense of ownership, while also thriving in a collaborative, innovative culture.
Responsibilities
• Own delivery of critical infrastructure components that power a global SaaS API‑driven platform.
• Lead engineers—both direct reports and cross‑functional collaborators—to deliver robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Architect and build innovative infrastructure systems, internal applications, and tooling that improve interoperability across the platform.
• Take full ownership of critical technology infrastructure spanning multiple technologies, tools, and programming languages.
• Ensure highly available, reliable services for customer‑facing applications and internal development teams.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant infrastructure engineering experience preferred; demonstrated ownership, leadership, and impact matter most.
• Proven ability to take responsibility for critical systems and deliver complex features or platforms.
• Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, AWS, or other core infrastructure technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with willingness to work in Java, Go, and Bash as needed.
• Strong experience running and operating critical workloads in AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, SDLC practices, authentication, and authorization.
• Ability to design reliable, performant solutions using both custom software and open‑source technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, curiosity, and initiative, with the ability to balance independence and collaboration.
• Prior experience leading people or technical teams is strongly preferred.
• Ability to leverage GenAI tools as a force multiplier for engineering productivity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
