Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment & Logistics Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the final leg of a product’s lifecycle by managing the seamless movement of outbound products from our distribution centers to customers, retail partners, and distributors—managing all outbound orders, freight logistics, and key 3PL relationships. You will maintain critical relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for our fulfillment and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfillment & Freight Management:
- Oversee all outbound orders (DTC, wholesale, broker), ensuring OTIF delivery, routing guide compliance, and accurate inventory records
- Manage day-to-day shipping workflows, troubleshoot issues, and maintain ERP/EDI integrations
Vendor & 3PL Partnerships:
- Serve as the daily contact for distribution centers, carriers, and freight partners
- Manage 3PL KPIs, SLAs, and SOPs to support scalability and performance
Cost & Performance Optimization –
- Track, audit, and report freight costs and KPIs
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and drive cost efficiency across logistics operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Retail, and greater Operations team teams to meet retailer requirements, resolve escalations, and prepare for new product launches
- Support product, operations, and systems updates with logistics expertise
Process & Systems Ownership
- Maintain and optimize shipping, fulfillment, and technology platforms to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement
- Serve as Superuser for the ERP system (Cin7), leveraging its capabilities to streamline inventory management
- Manage iterative development of tools, effectively tracking product life-cycle
- Regular domestic travel for distribution center visits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or similar
- 1-2 years experience in CPG in a fulfillment and logistics or supply chain coordination role
- Strong understanding of omni-channel logistics including brokers, retailers, Amazon, and eCommerce
- Experience working with 3PLs and fulfillment centers
- Strong skills with Excel
