Main Responsibilities
Shaw’s Distribution Center, a proud member of the Albertsons Companies family, is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Trucking Transportation Supervisor to lead the operations for our fleet of 100 plus CDL Class A drivers. If you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and have a passion for DOT compliance, leadership, and delivering results.
- Supervise daily transportation operations and CDL drivers.
- Schedule, route, and dispatch load efficiently for store deliveries.
- Ensure driver assignments and operations meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, including Hours of Service compliance.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse staff for on-time order loading and dispatch.
- Maintain strong relationships with store managers to ensure exceptional service.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly DOT mileage and compliance reports.
- Enforce safety standards, company policies, and government regulations at all times.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following
- Experience in transportation/logistics, preferably in the grocery or retail industry.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance (CDL Class A preferred).
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large driver team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and transportation management systems (TMS or onboard tech experience is a plus).
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid CDL A Driver's License Preferred.
