The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Logistics and Operations Manager to serve as the operational linchpin for our rapidly growing brand. This role is dedicated to the day-to-day management of our 3PL fulfillment operations and maintaining physical inventory accuracy across eCommerce, retail, wholesale, and major department store partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who solves problems before they escalate and thrives in the "deep work" of inventory flow and vendor management. You will play a critical role in our ability to scale by ensuring our backend operations are accurate and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
3PL & Fulfillment Management
- Primary 3PL Contact: Serve as the daily point of contact for our 3PL provider (Bergen), ensuring accountability and high-performance standards are met.
- SLA Auditing: Monitor and audit Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all channels, including eCommerce, retail, wholesale, and major retailers like Dillard’s.
- Resolution & Compliance: Troubleshoot fulfillment issues (mis-picks, delays, missed ASN compliance) and ensure all retailer-specific routing requirements are met.
- Billing Accuracy: Review 3PL invoices for accuracy and approve monthly billing.
- Technical Setup: Manage catalog uploads and item setup in SPS Commerce Assortment, ensuring accurate data for wholesale and retailer compliance.
Inventory Flow & Platform Expertise
- Multi-Platform Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile inventory accuracy across the 3PL portal, Shopify, and wholesale platforms (Faire, New Order) and ReDo Returns.
- Audit Leadership: Own the inventory audit process, including cycle counts, variance reporting, and root-cause resolution for any discrepancies.
- Flow Coordination: Partner with design, production, and retail teams to ensure accurate SKU-level tracking and seamless inventory flow during seasonal launches.
- Supply Management: Coordinate shipping supplies and inventory movements to prevent any "downtime" in the fulfillment cycle.
- Global Logistics & Customs Navigation: Act as the primary liaison with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure seamless entry of international shipments.
Strategic Contribution
- Operational Ownership: Identify and execute process improvements for 3PL transitions, chargeback reduction, and returns automation.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly SLA performance summaries and escalation trends to leadership to inform long-term strategy.
Who You Are
- Operational Expert: At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, inventory, or operations, specifically within the apparel space.
- Platform Pro: You are an expert in Shopify and 3PL portals. Experience with Faire, ReDo, and department store routing guides is highly preferred.
- Detail-Obsessed: You are analytical and hands-on, noticing and resolving inventory inconsistencies before others do.
- Independent & Accountable: You are highly organized and can manage your own workflow and deadlines without constant supervision.
- Hands-On: Able to travel to the 3PL (located in Kennesaw, GA) as needed for oversight and troubleshooting.
- Independent & Accountable: You are highly organized and can manage your own workflow and deadlines without constant supervision. Expert multi-tasker and able to appropriately prioritize.
- Clear Communicator: Knows who needs information and how to present it in a way that is clear and action oriented. Detailed in ability to follow up and ensure completion.
Why Join Us?
- Shape the Future: As a growing brand we are building our partnership with our 3PL and ramping up for future growth.
- Culture of Empowerment: We don’t just sell confidence; we cultivate it within our team. You are encouraged to be a self-starter and solution-oriented in your approach to your role.
- Growth: Be a key player in a brand that is poised for growth – help us grow the brand and your career alongside of it.
