Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and leading production teams to achieve production targets. This role ensures that production activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company quality standards while supporting continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production personnel.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Monitor production workflow and adjust staffing or processes to improve efficiency.
- Train, coach, and support production team members to maintain high performance.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Maintain accurate production records including output, attendance, and incidents.
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to address operational issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading production teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma practices.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role may require standing for extended periods, walking on the production floor, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when working in designated production areas.
