Plateau is accepting applications for a Project Manager for our Clovis, NM headquarters.
This position will be responsible for overseeing telecommunications-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered within the agreed-upon time frame, budget, and scope. This includes working closely with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables as well as developing and managing project-related plans, schedules, budgets, and resources. Other responsibilities include identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them, facilitating project meetings, providing status updates, and creating and compiling project-related documentation.
Minimum requirements to apply include an understanding of commonly used project management methodologies and proficiency in using project management tools and software. The successful candidate will also possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and will work successfully with a variety of personalities in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are preferred. Previous experience in telecommunications and the ability to read and interpret complex federal and state grant requirements are also desired. Some travel throughout Plateau’s geographic serving area, including occasional overnight stays, will be required. A clear 3-year driving record is necessary.
