Position: Chief Executive Officer
Compensation Package: 300K+ base (DoE), Annual Bonus, Equity Plan, Vehicle Plan

Reports to: Board of Directors – Private Equity
Organization Type: Private Equity-backed manufacturing business focused on industrial equipment, storage units and related parts.
Company Outline:
Employer is a Private Equity-backed leading manufacturer and distributor specializing in machinery and components for the industrial space. For more than 40-years, the company has been primarily known for providing both new equipment and retrofit solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of existing facilities. This includes full engineering services, mechanical installation, and a service department with full-time technicians for troubleshooting and repair.
Additionally, Employer provides automated control systems, remote valve operation, and equipment level monitoring.
Position Overview:
- Guide all commercial growth through identifying new market opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and drive organic revenue growth.
- Assume full P&L responsibility with a focus on cash flow, working capital, and debt reduction.
- Direct and lead supply networks to mitigate tariff, cost, and speed of delivery challenges.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing leadership team; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and equity. This includes succession planning and potential BoD interaction.
- Strengthen technology, data systems and measurement frameworks to ensure high-quality outcomes, transparent reporting, and customer satisfaction.
Key Experience & Responsibilities:
- Experience in heavy industrial equipment or steel product manufacturing is critical to maintaining and understanding Employer’s engineered sales approach and culture.
- Proven ability to bring together disparate divisions of a company to view themselves as two locations within one larger entity.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy, developing a defined strategy to proactively engage active and proactive customers (i.e., company-led sales vs. customer-driven sales), and expanding the sales footprint into new geographies.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Multiple years of related & progressive leadership within a similar manufacturing environment, with corresponding growth & success outcome results. Military experience is beneficial.
- Appropriate & related education, certifications, training achievements, and professional milestones.
- Demonstrated success leading organizations through growth, change, and increasing operational complexity.
- Experience in communicating and working with Private Equity, a BoD, or similar governing bodies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Deep commitment and passion to serving employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Must have served as a VP of Operations, COO, or CEO within a manufacturing environment generating $30mm - $100mm in annual revenue.
- Understanding of the transition from a family-founder-run small business with manual processes to a semi-automated, data-driven systems-based company.
- Ability to execute the transition of tribal knowledge and key customer relationships from the current three management team members into institutionally known company information.
