We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Quality Engineer due to rapid growth and expansion.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Quality Engineer utilizes quality and continuous improvement tools and methodology to enhance the quality assurance program, solve problems and avoid repeat issues.
- Use structured problem solving tools to understand product issues, obtain failed units, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work cross functionally with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Operations
- Improve existing and help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with Quality Analytics to build data models for early detection of product issues.
- Provide regular updates on issues, metrics, and improvement initiatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years in a design/manufacturing environment focused on customer quality, issue resolution, or product improvement.
