Job Description: Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to play a critical role in the daily execution and scaling of a fast-growing beauty company. This individual will be a driver of all supply chain and operational activities, ensuring products flow efficiently from suppliers and manufacturers through warehouses and into customer channels.
This role requires someone who is solution oriented, flexible, detail driven, and comfortable operating in a high growth, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in supply chain operations and thrives in both hands-on execution and cross functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Operations Execution
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) from issuance through receipt
- Monitor open POs and proactively flag risks or delays
- Coordinate and liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners for inbound POs
- Monitor incoming shipments and delivery timelines/create, manage, and track ASNs
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Manage optimal inventory levels across multiple warehouses
- Execute and track inventory transfers between warehouses and fulfillment locations
- Partner with 3PLs to ensure accurate inventory reporting and movement
Data, Systems & Master Data
- Create new items/SKUs and maintain item setup
- Maintain master data sheets and ensure data integrity
- Support inventory forecasting inputs for S&OP level visibility
Manufacturing & Vendor Coordination
- Act as a liaison with contract manufacturers
- Track production timelines and inbound readiness
Financial & Performance Reporting
- Prepare operational performance reports
- Support KPI tracking and weekly performance updates
Channel Support
- Review customer order requests for accuracy and feasibility
- Manage customer purchase orders
- Monitor fulfillment and inventory availability
Team & Process Support
- Prepare materials and data for weekly team meetings
- Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements
- Support documentation and scaling of repeatable processes
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or operations management
- Experience in beauty, consumer products, or a high growth startup environment preferred
- Strong understanding of purchase order management, inventory control, and logistics
- Experience working with 3PLs, freight partners, and contract manufacturers
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems a plus
