Job Summary
The Senior Director of IT Infrastructure leads the strategy, reliability, and modernization of the organization’s core technology platforms—including collaboration tools, unified communications, and network infrastructure. This role ensures secure, scalable systems while driving innovation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure leader skilled in end‑user technology, cloud transformation, and vendor management.
Job Duties
- Lead strategy and operations for collaboration platforms, unified communications, infrastructure, and networking.
- Develop and coach IT managers and directors; foster a high‑performance culture.
- Oversee and optimize Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise platforms.
- Manage telephony, faxing, badge access, printing, and associated vendors and SLAs.
- Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of all network infrastructure across sites.
- Advance cloud adoption, automation, and modernization initiatives.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory and performance standards.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.
- Track KPIs to measure performance, availability, and user satisfaction.
- Serve as escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents.
- Stay current on emerging technologies to guide long‑term strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- Expertise with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Experience with unified communications and access/print services.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and network security.
- Proven success with modernization and cloud initiatives.
- Strong vendor management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication capabilities.
- ITIL or regulated‑environment experience a plus.
