Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction project coordination, management, and technical skills. This role involves overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines. Candidates with extensive experience in construction site supervision, project scheduling, and the use of construction management software are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) and project specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost estimating and budgeting activities.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, providing leadership and direction to field teams.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations; enforce OSHA standards on-site.
- Review contracts, change orders, and manage project documentation diligently.
- Lead efforts in project planning, risk management, and problem-solving throughout the construction lifecycle.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Miter, & Procurify
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Experience with plans & specifications reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with pipeline projects and heavy civil construction processes.
- Supervising experience with a proven track record of managing teams on active construction sites.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Technical skills including plan reading, schematics analysis, use of ohmmeter for electrical testing, and understanding of construction site operations. Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
