Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipping and Receiving Manager located in the Charlotte Metro area. The role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing shipping and receiving processes, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company standards. The Shipping and Receiving Manager will lead a team, monitor workflow, operate equipment such as pallet jacks, and coordinate with different departments to ensure efficient logistics and timely product delivery. This is a fast moving shipping department.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience shipping pallets & small packages with various platforms including UPS Worldship & Shipstation.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and efficient workflow management
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving operations and Inventory Control practices
- Warehouse Organization
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in Forklift Operation and safe equipment handling practices
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and understand urgency.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and shipping compliance standards
- Previous experience in logistics or warehouse management is preferred
