POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management team in delivering successful MSP onboarding projects and professional services engagements, including cloud migrations, cybersecurity implementations, and infrastructure transitions. This remote position plays a critical role in keeping complex, multi-stakeholder projects on track while ensuring clear communication between clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Execution
- Support Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing MSP onboarding projects and professional services engagements
- Maintain project schedules, task lists, and documentation to ensure deliverables stay on track
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items across multiple concurrent projects
- Track project milestones, dependencies, and potential risks, escalating issues proactively to Project Managers
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and gathering required information
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to schedule implementations and resolve issues
- Facilitate communication between internal technical teams and external stakeholders
- Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences
- Manage expectations and maintain positive relationships throughout project lifecycles
Administrative & Process Support
- Maintain project management tools and platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Prepare status reports, executive summaries, and project closeout documentation
- Support the development and refinement of project templates, processes, and best practices
- Assist with resource planning and scheduling across the project management team
- Track and document lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in IT or professional services
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft 365 suite
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred
- Experience with managed service provider (MSP) operations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365) and IT infrastructure concepts
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and compliance frameworks
- Experience coordinating technical migrations or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of government, tribal, or nonprofit sectors
- Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP) or equivalent
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
While deep technical expertise is not required, familiarity with the following tools and concepts is beneficial:
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365/Entra ID
- Security Tools: SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Intune
- Project Management: ConnectWise PSA, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Networking & Monitoring: Auvik, network infrastructure basics
- Compliance: CMMC, cybersecurity frameworks
