Unified Public Advocacy (UPA) is seeking high-energy, mission-driven Fire & Disaster Outreach Advocates to serve on the front lines of community response following residential fires and catastrophic losses.

This is not a desk job.

You will be responsible for monitoring active emergency incidents, responding in real time, engaging directly with displaced homeowners, and ensuring families immediately receive critical advocacy, guidance, and support during one of the most traumatic moments of their lives.

Core Responsibilities

Monitor fire and disaster alerts (scanners, alerts, incident reports) within assigned territory.
Respond rapidly to active residential fire or disaster scenes in accordance with safety protocols.
Engage directly with affected homeowners and families with professionalism, empathy, and authority.
Explain available advocacy services and next steps in clear, compassionate language.
Serve as the primary on-scene advocate, ensuring families are not left to navigate insurance, housing, or recovery alone.
Coordinate with internal teams to initiate immediate support and case intake.
Accurately document outreach activity, incident details, and homeowner engagement.
Build trusted relationships with community stakeholders and local partners.
Represent Unified Public Advocacy with integrity, confidence, and leadership at all times.
Participate in training and ongoing development programs designed for executive advancement.

Leadership mindset with long-term growth goals
Prior experience in fire response, disaster relief, emergency services, outreach, insurance, restoration, advocacy, or community leadership is a strong plus — but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
