Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing and optimizing day-to-day logistics operations while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong experience in time-critical air freight, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations to ensure the timely and efficient movement of time-critical shipments
Coordinate air freight movements, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and operational standards
Prepare and issue accurate customer quotations based on routing, service level, and shipment requirements
Liaise with airlines, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution and rapid issue resolution
Prepare and raise AWBs, ensuring all supporting documentation is correctly obtained, including:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service and responsive communication
Proactively provide real-time shipment updates to manage customer expectations
Resolve customer queries and operational challenges quickly and professionally
Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround times
Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management

Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics or freight forwarding
Proven experience in time-critical logistics and aviation AOG shipments
Strong knowledge of air freight procedures, routings, and documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail under pressure
Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
IATA Dangerous Goods Awareness certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience preparing freight quotations and understanding rate structures and margins
Familiarity with customs clearance documentation
Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance
Experience working in a 24/7 time-critical logistics environment
