Role Overview: Are you passionate about making a difference? Join our dynamic team as a Fundraiser and be a voice for children. In this role, you'll spearhead fundraising efforts, engage with the community, and drive initiatives that raise vital funds for Feed the Children at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois . This position offers an exciting opportunity to have a tangible impact while enjoying the potential for bonuses based on your performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in our mall campaign to promote Feed the Children's mission and raise funds.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong and personalized connections with donors and supporters to foster their long-term support and involvement.
- Campaign Management: Implement fundraising campaigns and strive to surpass fundraising goals.
- Expectations: Provide exceptional care and communication to donors, ensuring their engagement and future expectations of regular updates.
Compensation: Competitive base rate with performance bonuses
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for the Cause: A deep commitment to make sure children are not going to bed hungry. Also helping to ensure parents have the skills and resources they need to feed their families.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with diverse audiences and build meaningful relationships.
- Self-Starter: A motivated and results-driven individual who thrives both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Comfort with approaching people and the ability to interact confidently with a wide range of people.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to Woodfield Mall.
