Lead Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who can set the pace in the field, mentor carpenters, and ensure Fryar Construction’s high standards are consistently delivered across interior and exterior finish work.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor carpenters and apprentices on diverse carpentry tasks
- Ensure all interior and exterior finishes meet Fryar Construction’s standards
- Install cabinetry, trim, millwork, doors, and windows
- Perform exterior finish tasks including siding, exterior trim, decks, stairs, and railings
- Read and interpret blueprints, finish schedules, and specifications
- Manage workflow and coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain safe, clean, and damage-free worksites
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven carpentry experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of both interior finish and exterior carpentry (siding, decks, exterior trim)
- Ability to manage teams and delegate effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with precision tools, materials, and building best practices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
