Senior Materials & Process Engineer – Superalloys (Hybrid | Philadelphia Area)
We are seeking a Sr. Materials & Process Engineer with deep expertise in nickel-based superalloys to support development of high-performance materials and processing solutions for demanding applications.
This is a hybrid role; candidates must be located or willing to relocate near Philadelphia, PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify application and performance requirements for advanced metallic materials
- Lead materials and process development efforts focused on superalloys
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support feasibility, prototyping, and scale-up
- Analyze market, competitive, and standards-related data to guide technical strategy
- Support early-stage customer and partner technical discussions
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in materials, process, or application engineering
- Strong expertise in nickel-based superalloys and metallurgical processing
- Experience translating application needs into material and process solutions
- Strong technical communication skills
