Our client is a well established recycling and waste brokerage company seeking a Director of Logistics to be based in California. The Director of Logistics is a senior, hands-on individual contributor responsible for owning end-to-end transportation and logistics operations within a recycling and waste brokerage. This role oversees the movement of recyclable materials and waste from generator to recycling or disposal facilities, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and service reliability across multiple regions. The position requires advanced proficiency in C-Trade software, with full ownership of dispatching, carrier coordination, documentation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience in recycling or waste brokerage logistics, a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to independently manage carrier relationships and scalable logistics operations in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
