Ship Velocity is a fast-growing DTC-focused 3PL based in Miami. Over the past years, we've consistently seen year over year grown, and are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to help us build scalable, repeatable warehouse operations while maintaining an exceptional client experience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building structure, and takes ownership of both people and process.
What You’ll Own
- Day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, putaway, pick/pack, outbound)
- Labor planning, scheduling, and floor execution
- Ensuring SOPs are followed and continuously improved
- Maintaining warehouse organization, accuracy, and efficiency
- Managing and developing warehouse staff
- Acting as the primary escalation point for floor-level issues
- Partnering closely with leadership to support growth and scale
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of warehouse or 3PL operations experience
- Proven experience leading teams on the warehouse floor
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a growing, evolving environment (not overly corporate)
- Experience with WMS systems is a plus
- Able to take ownership and make decisions independently
