Job Description
- Bachelor's degree as a minimum.
- Experienced quality and manufacturing professional with a strong background in mechanical systems and machined metal parts.
- Has spent over 8 years working directly in manufacturing environments, not just reviewing paperwork, but understanding how parts are made and how machines and processes really work.
- Bring hands-on experience supporting and improving supplier performance through audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Works closely with engineering and supply chain on a small, collaborative team while managing relationships with roughly 10 to 20 suppliers.
- Skilled at reading and interpreting engineering drawings, using CAD tools, and applying practical quality methods such as SPC, 5 Whys, and 8D to resolve manufacturing issues at the source. Communicates clearly, handles supplier interactions professionally, and is comfortable traveling domestically and internationally, excluding China, as part of the role.
