Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineer located in St. Petersburg, FL. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety. Key tasks include analyzing production workflows, troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product design for manufacturability, and ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards. The role also involves hands-on problem-solving and staying up to date with advancements in manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Engineering, and related practices.
- Knowledge and application of Industrial Engineering principles and standards.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, including design and analysis of mechanical systems.
- Experience with machining operations and understanding of the machining industry.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality control methods and safety regulations in manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the sensor, switch, or electrical motor manufacturing industry is a plus.
