OpportunityThe People Experience team currently covers our Southern California operations, in seven facilities, and focuses on strategic and tactical initiatives about our people, information, and processes. We champion causes that support the best of both worlds: A positive and fun team member experience and high performance of our team members! Our partners are leaders in Operations, Information Technology, Finance, Business Development, Accounts and members of our communities.
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity available for a People Experience Manager in our Fontana location. The People Experience Manager is responsible for the USA people related initiatives in two facilities in Fontana and one in Los Angeles.
The People Experience Manager oversees and manages the People Experience functions for NRI and provides direct guidance and support to managers and team members on all matters related to People. This position influences business decisions through strategic planning of people processes and works on multiple initiatives to support the vision, mission, guiding principles, and strategic direction of NRI.
Things you Will be Doing
1. Plans, develops and implements People Experience strategies to facilitate the continued growth and success of NRI and its people.
- Staffing plans and strategies to attract and retain team members.
- Training and succession planning.
2. Leverages technology, process and structure to ensure scalable solutions to support the growth of our business.
- Marries up technology to physical process to eliminate waste and ensure a quality experience for all people the process and technology touches.
- Sources new solutions to improve the overall experience of team members while providing the opportunity for improved business results.
3. Supports and drives NRI culture based on our mindset mantra and guiding principles.
- Builds relationships with key partners in the community that aligns with our values.
- An architect in the ensuring the physical work environment plays a role in initiating behaviors that are conducive to the NRI guiding principles.
- Creates communication and initiatives to align the overall team member experience, behaviors, actions and results.
- Ensure legal compliance and aligns policies and processes with the legislative requirements of California.

The Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- Ten plus years of experience in Human Resources in a generalist and leadership capacity.
- Ability to travel between Fontana and Los Angeles as is necessary to ensure all facilities in your portfolio are properly supported.
- Excellent MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
- Previous experience with an HRIS.
- Having a solutions focused approach to everything you do.
- Thick enough skin to accept feedback, an ear for listening and motivation to drive initiatives forward.
