Overview
CORT is hiring a
remote Dispatch Manager with
high-volume call center leadership experience and a proven ability to
scale teams, redesign workflows, and build systems.
As the Dispatch Manager, you’ll
lead and grow a centralized call center dispatch team supporting final milelogistics. This role is focused on
call center-based dispatch support for multiple warehouse and distribution centers and requires a strategic leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
The Centralized Dispatch Team manages
route planning and dispatch for CORT’s final-mile operations . As Dispatch Manager, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role, guiding a team of dispatchers who support our delivery teams across the country. You’ll be instrumental in
developing KPIs, reporting, SLAs, and standardization to scale operations regionally.
This is a
remote position performed from the convenience of your home office. Only candidates residing in the
Eastern or Central time zone will be considered.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $82,000/year (dependent on experience) + eligibility for CORT’s Performance Sharing Plan (PSP) bonus.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM Eastern.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to scale call center dispatch operations , improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate a remote team of dispatch professionals , fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Performance Management: Define andmonitor call center KPIs (e.g., service level, handle time), conduct performance reviews, and provide actionable feedback.
- Process Optimization: Implement best practices for call center workflows , routing technology, and operational scalability.
- Quality Assurance: Establishquality checks tomaintainservice standards and proactively address issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align dispatch operations with broader organizational goals.
- Customer Experience: Ensure proactive communication with internal and external customers, manage escalations, and develop contingency plans for high-demand periods.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifyprocess gaps and champion initiatives that improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume call center environment , including scaling teams and implementing process improvements.
- Experience in logistics or transportation industry a plus.
- Familiarity with call center performance metrics .
- Experience implementing new call center or routing technology preferred;experiencewith Descartes and/or B r ingg is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring remote teams .
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to scale operations and standardize processes .
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and dispatch management systems.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
