r****About This Role****

The Office 365 Engineer is pivotal in designing, deploying, and managing

hybrid cloud solutions and Microsoft Office 365 services to enhance the

scalability and performance of the university\'s IT infrastructure. This

position supports the Hybrid Cloud Organization in implementing robust

cloud architectures across public and private components, optimizing

cloud environments through automation and real-time monitoring.

Additionally, the role involves collaborating closely with IT security

teams and other IT departments to integrate security measures, manage

resources efficiently, and ensure high levels of end-user satisfaction

by maintaining a responsive and effective cloud infrastructure.

****What You\'ll Need to Succeed****

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and six years of

Relevant Experience. Requirements May Be Met Through a Combination

of work experience and education.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field degree

desired

Three or more years in cloud database development, implementation

and support

Experience with automating DBA tasks and database monitoring tools

such as CheckMK

Proficient with relational databases (e.g. Oracle & SQL Server)
Experience with cloud data systems (e.g. AWS & Azure)
In-depth knowledge of SQL
Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and results oriented
Able to find root causes of problems and quickly determines

efficient solutions

Can anticipate risks and mitigate in the moment
Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus
Ability to relate to diverse community of students, staff, and

faculty

High level of energy, enthusiasm, and ability to be innovative and

creative

Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to

effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse

scopes

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Sponsorship Eligibility

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing
