Job Title: Process / Manufacturing Engineer
Location: NH – 100% onsite
Job Description:
Client is looking for Process Manufacturing Engineers that will support the startup and commissioning of process equipment for a greenfield Cell and Gene Therapy manufacturing facility. This role will be part of a large cross-functional startup team and will be responsible for executing protocols, operating and troubleshooting GMP process equipment, and supporting facility readiness activities during initial manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support startup, commissioning, and operational readiness of GMP process equipment in a greenfield Cell and Gene Therapy facility
- Execute approved protocols and documentation using a combination of paper-based systems and Kneat electronic documentation software
- Operate and troubleshoot process equipment using DeltaV control systems and MES (Syncade)
- Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and support deviation investigations and resolution
- Perform routine equipment operation, setup, and changeover activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Quality, Manufacturing, and Validation teams
- Ensure activities comply with GMP, safety, and quality requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives during early-stage manufacturing operations
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Experience supporting GMP manufacturing operations, startup, or commissioning activities
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting process equipment in a regulated environment
- Familiarity with DeltaV and MES platforms such as Syncade preferred
- Experience executing protocols and working within controlled documentation systems
