Kelly Services is currently seeking an Engineering Intern for one of our top clients in Anaheim, CA on a Contract to Direct Hire basis.
NOTE: Seeking candidates who are recent graduates (within the past 12 months, ideally).
Ideal Candidate:
- Completion of Degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Materials / Composites Engineering
- Strong interest in materials and data analysis, as well as excellent attention to detail
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
Shift:
- Day shift: Mon - Fri, standard business hours with flex.
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00/hr
Job Description:
- As part of Site Operations you will provide support to Production and Process Engineering teams who is responsible for all manufacturing on site
- This position will ensure safety is given the highest priority to personal and processes. You will also ensure that customers get a high quality products made right the first time and delivered when promised.
Key Tasks:
- Identify and assist with continuous improvement projects on production units
- Develop, track and analyze plant performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness
- Support work associated with sites digitalization ambitions
- Develop standardized documentation forms, instructions, batch sheets, etc.
- Assist with improving the organization and storage of information and equipment asset registers across site
Additional Skills:
- You must have good communication skills, be thorough, accurate, self-motivated, flexible, a good team player yet able to proactively work alone.
- You'll need to be ambitious, an excellent analytical thinker with a drive for getting things done.
- Applicants should have advanced spreadsheet skills and be fully conversant with Google Workspace or MS Office.
- Applicants need to be able to follow operating instructions and working procedures.
- Should have the ability to carry out this work with minimum supervision and with due regard to the Health and Safety of themselves and others.
