Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator. The role will report to the Director of Operations. We are looking for a highly organized, and motivated individual, who has rounded experience in the wholesale and manufacturing industries.
The coordinator will be responsible to provide assistance and support the overall efficiency for the operations team.
Some of the Day-to-day responsibilities include
-Routing of Orders
-Managing FOB and POE orders, from routing thru Receiving
-Scheduling Trucking
-Optimizing Freight, Quoting Freight
-Coordinating all Domestic shipments for multiple divisions & warehouses.
-Warehouse Communication
-Backup to Import Manager on all shipments from overseas.
-Costing- entering freight bills.
-Owning LTL and FTL shipments
-Utilizing our ERP system to ship, in transit, and receive product
-Working cross collaboratively with our allocation teams, import, order entry teams, and EDI teams
-EDI knowledge
The candidate will help manage and coordinate supply chain operations, overseeing logistics, optimizing inventory levels, developing and executing project plans, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
