About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to support critical transportation and distribution functions across a large-scale national supply chain network. This is a high-impact, hybrid role based in Nashville, TN, with strong potential for long-term growth.
You’ll split your time between onsite work at the corporate office near Opryland and BNA Airport and remote work during alternate weeks. In this role, you’ll coordinate inbound and outbound transportation schedules, support freight payment audits, and collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, and distribution centers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with logistics or distribution experience who thrives in fast-paced, team-driven environments.
What You’ll Do
- Schedule inbound deliveries and outbound pickups across distribution centers and manufacturing plants
- Plan and coordinate fleet pickups at vendor locations
- Audit freight payment processes to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Communicate with carriers, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Maintain and update transportation documentation and perform end-of-day administrative tasks
- Assist with online purchasing and inventory system tracking
- Provide customer service and phone support in a professional office setting
- Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and distribution teams

What We’re Looking For
- Experience or knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook required)
- Familiarity with online purchasing or inventory systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
Bonus Points For
- Prior experience coordinating inbound and outbound transportation
- Knowledge of freight payment systems or transportation management systems (TMS)
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
- Comfort alternating between onsite and remote work
