A thriving family business north of DT Denver is seeking an IT Director to join their team. This business is very well established and has seen tremendous growth over recent years. This new position is open due to the growth and evolution of the organization, which will allow this individual to truly take ownership and directly see the impact of their technical contributions as well as “own” the entire infrastructure that is vital for growth. This role also allows for the unique ability to move into higher-level, executive positions fairly quickly. In addition to being the owner of the infrastructure strategy/vision, this person will direct new company-wide implementations and ongoing oversight of their internal platforms.
The Director will wear multiple hats and provide a wide array of expertise to deliver high-performing technology platforms. To accomplish this, the successful candidate must be equally adept at troubleshooting technology problems for remote offices as they are in providing leadership-level strategy and management of IT operations. Ideally, this person comes from supporting small to mid-sized family-run businesses, reporting directly to executives/owners.

General responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructure strategy/policy for growth and scalability, implement secure networks and server solutions, and oversee system stability and performance.
- Oversees the day-to-day technology and systems operations of the Office including data centers,
- networks, telephony, storage and end-user computing.
- Propose hardware/software solutions and system developments to accomplish the company's business objectives.
- Ensure that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely, as well as provide hands-on troubleshooting/support when necessary.
- Manage vendors as well as plan and implement infrastructure and disaster recovery strategy while maintaining technical security for the company.
- Understand workflows and business requirements across four departments and implement solutions to make the foundation more operationally efficient
- High-level project management capabilities
General Requirements:
- 10+ years of managing IT infrastructure and operations, planning and implementing infrastructure and disaster recovery strategy, while maintaining security compliance for the company
- Advanced technology skills and in-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure architecture, design, and configuration for WAN/LAN/WLAN networking, cloud, storage, endpoint computing, and operating systems (WinOS/MacOS/iOS)
- Microsoft Technology – experience deploying and managing Exchange, Active Directory, Sharepoint,
- and SQL Server.
- VMWare Virtualization – implementation and management of virtualized servers; experience with both VCenter and VSphere
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, data backup and recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods.
- Experience building budgets and managing budgets and common financial processes, and a demonstrated record of staying within budgets.
- Experience in working with high-net-worth individuals and Family businesses is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated reliability, and attention to detail
