Salary Range: $69 - $74/hr
10-month assignment on W2 with a possibility for extension based on performance and budget.
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver small to large-scale, mission-critical projects within the HF Heart Failure business unit. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong business and technical acumen who can manage cross-functional teams, drive project execution across the full project life cycle, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a regulated quality-system environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering solutions that support critical healthcare initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 7 or more years of project management experience
- Experience within a regulated industry (healthcare, medical device, quality systems environment) with awareness of regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing single and multiple complex projects through the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource estimates
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to lead cross-functional and departmental teams
- Strong communication skills, including status reporting, presentations, and stakeholder updates
- Working technical and business knowledge with the ability to apply concepts, practices, and procedures
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Broad understanding of technical alternatives and their impact on enterprise systems
- Strong risk management and contingency planning experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and direct projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines
- Collaborate with project sponsors, business units, and end users to define scope, objectives, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
- Assign, guide, and monitor project staff and cross-functional teams
- Track project progress, identify risks, and develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans
- Ensure project quality through adherence to standard development methodologies and quality processes
- Communicate project status through reports, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings
- Resolve project issues by working closely with team members, customers, and leadership
- Provide expert project guidance and support through project completion
- Share project management knowledge and mentor junior project leaders as needed
