Zentel Tech seeks applicant with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This position will be split between the field and our Morton Grove office. Responsible for day-to-day management of many projects as well as their overall financial outcome. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting experience is a plus. The ability to sell and manage work is a desirable asset for candidates. A strong ability to estimate small to medium sized projects is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this position. A daily interface with customers and the Zentel Tech office will be required.
Must have the ability to communicate with customers and give clear concise instructions to the field. Should be able to think and act quickly as most of our business is dependent on the continued uninterrupted operations of our customers’ facilities.
Most of our current projects are within the Chicagoland area. This position may require travel outside the Chicago area as occasional projects will necessitate travel. The successful candidate will have a private office in our Morton Grove branch and will split time between jobsites and the office. We have large opportunities for growth in the future and is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management within the construction industry
- Proficient in MS Office products, construction management and estimating software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and contract interpretation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven experience in project coordination and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
