Stacks is the execution engine behind complex, multi-city operations and high-stakes brand activations for clients like Red Bull, F1, the NBA and FIFA.
We partner with businesses, agencies, and events who need things done right, fast, and without drama.
We’re hiring a Director of Operations to build the operational spine of a fast-scaling logistics and execution company.
This is not a caretaker role.
The Role
You’ll own operations across all Stacks markets, design scalable systems, and ensure Stacks delivers high-touch service every time—no matter the city, client, or timeline.
You’ll lead Location Managers and ops staff, partner closely with Sales and the CEO, and turn complexity into repeatable, margin-positive operations.
You must be able to zoom out to design systems and zoom in to fix breakdowns.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end execution across all markets (warehousing, labor, delivery)
- Operational playbooks, SOPs, and service standards that actually get used
- Onboarding, training, and performance of Location & Operations team
- Capacity planning, staffing models, and execution readiness
- Ops tech stack (inventory tracking, labor reporting, receiving and shipping)
- Cost modeling and facility planning
- Real-time problem solving in high-pressure, last-minute environments
What You Bring
- 8+ years in operations leadership (logistics, event production, field operations, or complex services)
- Proven experience scaling systems across multiple geographies
- Strong leadership presence with a coaching mindset
- Deep operational judgment—not just dashboards
- Comfort being accountable for outcomes, not just processes
- Experience with WMS / inventory / dispatch tools
Why Stacks
You’ll help build a company designed to serve the most demanding clients in the country and will have a tremendous opportunity to get in early, grow with Stacks and make a meaningful impact with an exceptional company.
If you’ve been stuck reacting and want to finally build, this is that role.
