Grand Industrial is looking for an " Hands On" project manager in our Logansport, IN operation.
Grand Industrial is a rapidly growing Indiana based contractor, and we are looking for an addition to the team. The project manager is responsible for everything from the point of meeting with a client to determining and documenting the scope of work, all the way through delivering the final proposal and monitoring the costs while the project is in process. The ability to work in a fast passed environment while managing multiple projects is a must. The project manager will coordinate pricing with our self performing disciplines as well as sub-contractors and vendors. The project manager will execute the work in the field.
- Construction experience 5yrs (required)
- Project management 3yrs (required)
- Valid driver's license with ability to be commercially insured is required

- Able to procure materials and equipment for projects
- Understanding of billing and close out of projects
- Proficient in excel and word computer software
- Knowledge of estimating programs such as Sage, Timberline, Toolbox
- Can work with a group or on own with minimal supervision
- Business development skill set
- Knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Ability to read bid packages and blueprints
- Good understanding of cost variables
- Able to resolve disputes covering items proposed vs change orders
