Job Title: Framer/Carpenter
As a Framer/Carpenter, you will play a vital role in bringing projects to life through your expertise in various construction techniques. Your hands-on experience will be essential as you collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety. You will engage in a variety of tasks making each day an exciting challenge.
What you’ll do
- Rough framing and building wooden structures, including walls, roofs and flooring
- Doing joinery work that includes installing joists and studs, installing flashing and securing structural supports
- Choosing the appropriate wood materials for interior and outdoor projects, choosing high-quality materials and matching clients’ budgets
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings and building in compliance with code standards
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site environments with hands-on skills in various trades
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in carpentry, woodworking, metal stud framing, and heavy lifting
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in construction
