HVAC Mechanical Project Manager - Commercial

All Florida Mechanical Services, LLC. Is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our growing construction division. We are a commercial only mechanical contractor serving the entire southeastern part of the United States. Our construction division serving the greater Tampa Bay area and Central Florida. We are looking to bring on another Project Manager to become a key role in this division to manage projects from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:

· Management of overall project from the start of contract to close-out

· Communication between project manager and superintendent from the General Contractor

Establish job cost breakdowns and schedule of values to ensure positive cashflow of project. Review, update and approve all project billings monthly to ensure timely submission.

Coordinate the completion and perform review of all submittal data, operation and maintenance manuals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to ensure these are in accordance with the construction documents and schedule.

Monitor the purchase of all major equipment for each job and oversee purchase of materials to ensure budgets are on track

· Manage all RFI’s through the GC and create all change orders to reflect on your budget

· Track project hours and material purchases throughout the project to ensure the projects stay under their original budget

Close out the job by submitting required paperwork and communicating with the field supervisor

· Attend weekly on site meetings with General Contractor

· Putting together 3-6 week look ahead schedule for your projects and manpower needing to meet deadlines from the GC

· Update the company in weekly construction meeting on progress of your contstrction jobs

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in project management of commercial mechanical construction.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components

· Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

· Strong communication skills to pass along information and provide feedback

· Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and Project, other project management systems such as Procore

· Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and solution driven.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
