SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER
Employee-owned environmental consulting firm has immediate need for a Senior Environmental Project Manager for our Stockton, California office. Must have a proven track record of management and execution of complex environmental projects, working with various State and local agencies. Must possess significant experience in assessment and remediation of soil, soil vapor and groundwater. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Professional registration preferred.
The position is a combination of personnel management, field work, data analysis/data organization and technical document preparation. The successful candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with the entire team to achieve project goals for both small and large projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in geology, engineering or related earth science field
- Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer preferred
- 6+ years relevant experience
- Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with good communication, analytical, organization, and time management skills
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients and subcontractors
- Able to meet deadlines, both internally and externally
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Climb ladders, carry equipment (up to 50 lbs), manage, and oversee construction sites; and be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment, including respirators.
- Position includes both office and field work, driving in various weather conditions, walking on uneven terrain.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
