McLeod Logistics is a 3rd party freight transportation management firm specializing in full truckload shipments. We are a privately held company headquartered in the Creve Coeur area of St. Louis, Missouri and have been family-owned and operated for over 30 years.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Account Manager to join our team and spearhead our logistics and supply chain partnerships. In this role, you will be the key driver in building strong relationships with clients, managing complex logistics accounts, and delivering tailored solutions that optimize supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities
· Develop and manage relationships with core customers and act as their primary contact
· Responsible for developing strong customer relationships and generating a profitable base
· Upsell and strengthen current customer base and prospect new customers
· Track and trace all customer loads and relay service reports to customers
· Meet or exceed load counts and margin goals
· Assist with co-workers to manage regional areas, customers, and carrier bases
· Able to handle a large mix of inbound and outbound call volume on a daily basis
· Be efficient in all areas of the load management system including tracking and tracing shipments, planning and assigning pick-up and delivery times
Qualifications
· Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills (customers, carriers, co-workers)
· Possesses excellent organizational skills with emphasis on phone and email communication
· Ability to work well as a team, while delivering individual results
· Ability to work well under pressure with a diverse group of people
· Ability to respond and communicate in a timely manner and follow through with an appropriate action for any situation
· Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and pay attention to detail
· Skilled in the area of customer service and communication
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
· Truckload Transportation experience is required (1-2+ years preferred)
