Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic tools and machinery such as drills, saws, and forklifts under supervision
- Mix and pour concrete, lay bricks or blocks, and install basic framing components
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, or performing other supportive tasks
- Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or issues
- Maintain cleanliness of the work site by disposing of waste materials properly and organizing tools and supplies
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to learn safety standards on-site
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to team success
