Disaster Recovery Case Manager
Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a BSW or MSW to act as a case manager for a Disaster Recovery Program in St. Louis. This is a temporary position that will provide relief to individuals impacted by the storms and tornadoes that occured in March-May of this year, and a great opportunity to make a difference in your community! This position is office based, but does require home visits.
This position is 40 hours/week (hours are approximately between 8-5 Monday through Friday). This temporary position is expected to last for six months.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Provide disaster recovery services to persons temporarily residing in community settings including motels, shared homes, and other housing situations.
- Determine eligibility and assess survivors? disaster related needs utilizing a prescribed Tier of Need framework.
- Complete disaster intake form(s) and records, provide disaster related financial assistance, and record disaster related case management services according to prescribed agency guidelines.
- Implement long-term case management planning services, which will include individualized disaster recovery plans, with disaster survivors leading to the elimination of disaster-related needs.
- Provide disaster and non-disaster information and referral services.
- Record agency spending on clients and provide timely and correct statistical data and reports.
Family Support Specialist, MSW
Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a MSW to fill a permanent, full time role as a Family Support Specialist in Richmond Heights, MO. The Family Support Specialist helps parents and children impacted by visual impairment grow together by building confidence, reducing stress, and promoting the well-being of the children and families. Family-centered services are unique to each family?s situation and support each family?s self-determination and full community inclusion.
This position is 37.5 hours/week (hours are approximately between 8-5 Monday through Friday). Minimal evening and weekend hours may be needed to accomodate families.
Candidates will be expected to:
Conduct home visits within 50 miles of the office (mileage is reimbursed).
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with families.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine child and family needs and identify barriers and strategies to overcome those barriers.
Provide short-term counseling to support the emotional needs of family members including problem-solving and crisis intervention.
Supports caregivers in navigating various systems.
Collaborate with DGC program staff, other service providers, and community partners to provide continuity of care and linkages to resources.
Complete required client documentation.
Co-Occurring Outpatient Therapist, LMSW/LCSW
Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a LCSW to fill a permanent, full time role as an outpatient therapist in a substance use treatment program in Maryland Heights, MO. Candidates with specialized experience in treating individuals navigating both distorted eating and substance use disorders. This role is designed for clinicians passionate about working at the intersection of cross-addiction, distorted eating behaviors, and substance use disorders.
This role typically works M-F, 9-5. It is preferred that they have availability to work 10-6 some nights for evening sessions.
Candidates will be expected to:
Provide outpatient individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches
Direct tailored interventions to meet the unique needs of clients experiencing disrupted relationships with food, body, substances, and emotional regulation after the clients have maintained a period of sobriety.
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate ED, SUD, and mental-health interventions.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with psychiatrists, dietitians, nursing staff, and behavioral health professionals to deliver truly integrated care.
Maintain clinically sound, timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and facility standards.
Reentry Therapist, LCSW
Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a LCSW to act as a post-release therapist with individuals reentering the community after incarceration. This temporary position in Maryland Heights, MO is 30-40 hours/week and is expected to last 2-3 months with an immediate start date. This is a great opportunity to help dramatically reduce recidivism by offering evidence-based interventions in a variety of services.
Candidates will be expected to:
Use assessments to confirm treatment plan goals.
Conduct impactful weekly one on one and group therapy sessions.
Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Document progress and ongoing treatment plans.

Intensive Outpatient Therapist, LMSW/LCSW
Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a LMSW/LCSW to act as an Intensive Out-Patient therapist with individuals on leave from work due to severe anxiety and depression. This temporary position in Creve Coeur, MO is approximately 25 hours/week and is expected to last 1 month with an immediate start date.
Candidates will be expected to:
Perform intake and psychosocial assessments.
Provide group therapy sessions focused on psychoeducation, CBT, and skill building.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
Conduct crisis intervention as necessary.
