Pay Range: $130,000+ depending on experience

About The Role
The Director of Clubhouse Operations reports directly to the General Manager (COO) and provides high-level oversight for the entirety of the Food and Beverage Operation and the entirety of the Clubhouse Operation to include Aquatics, Youth Programming, and Housekeeping. This position focuses on the strategic execution of the clubhouse's overall vision, ensuring seamless interconnection between departments. The Director ensures that all operational leaders adhere to the standards set by the Club, the General Manager (COO), and the Board of Directors, while actively developing managers into stronger operators.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the overall vision of the clubhouse is executed effectively as it interconnects with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Aquatics, and Youth Programming
- Conducts monthly budget review meetings with department managers to identify variances and determine how to correct them moving forward
- Audits the operation and follows up with leaders in specific areas to ensure correction and improvement takes place
- Ensure each operational area adheres strictly to the budget set by the Board of Directors
- Collaborates with the Director of Finance, Director of HR, Director of Golf, Golf Course Superintendent, Director of Tennis, and Facilities Director on club-wide initiatives
- Serves as a visible, member-facing leader, actively engaging in the member experience to ensure satisfaction
- Develops and mentors operational managers, helping them grow into better operators and leaders
- Follows up with managers to ensure they are meeting goals set in their reviews for their departments
- Participation in the governance of club committees to include running House committee, attending Long Range Planning, Finance, and the Swim and Fitness committees.
- Attend board meetings and provides details about clubhouse operations

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage budgets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Understands importance of discretion and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Intermediate proficiency with computers
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of high-end or luxury hospitality experience required
- Proven experience managing and developing leaders/managers required
- Degree in Hospitality Management with a focus in Business Administration is strongly preferred
