Position Overview:
The Senior Director of Global Manufacturing will lead the strategic and operational direction of worldwide manufacturing activities for electronic devices. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality production, cost efficiency, and scalability across multiple global sites while driving continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end production operations across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Optimize supply chain and manufacturing footprint to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and automation to enhance productivity.
- Lead cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and ramp-up activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Manage global manufacturing budgets and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership within the electronic device industry.
- Proven track record of managing global operations and large-scale production environments.
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and advanced production technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
