Lead Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator
Location: On‑site in Marlboro, MD

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and prioritize dispatch operations for a mobile workforce and heavy equipment fleet, aligning with project timelines and client requirements.
- Maintain live scheduling systems, adjust assignments in real time, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of updates or changes.
- Collaborate closely with field crews, project managers, safety staff, and account teams to synchronize manpower, equipment, and site needs.
- Act as main contact for clients and internal teams regarding schedule confirmations, site access, delays, or rescheduling situations.
- Track movements of key assets, oversee transport logistics, and proactively identify potential bottlenecks or conflicts.
- Support permitting, rigging coordination, and daily deployment schedules that serve both compliance and productivity outcomes.
- Work with the safety and operations leadership to integrate dispatch workflows with safety protocols, incident reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead communications for dispatch‑related administration - such as roster notifications, payroll‑adjacent tracking, and crew mobilization updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in dispatching, scheduling, or logistics - preferably within heavy equipment, industrial services, or field operations.
- Strong organizational ability, comfortable managing complex schedules, shifting priorities, and dynamic real‑time problem‑solving.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset and ability to handle emergent issues calmly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) plus familiarity with dispatch or scheduling systems; experience with software platforms like NexGen is a strong advantage.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history; ability to travel occasionally if required.
- Physical capability to lift ~50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs; comfortable in an environment that includes large‑scale equipment, elevated work zones, and outdoor conditions.
- Must pass standard drug screening and background check; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Supervisory Scope:
This role will guide and manage daily operations of field crews including equipment operators, transport personnel, and drivers, ensuring alignment with dispatch and operational objectives.
