Huntleigh USA Corporation is currently hiring for Part Time As Needed Charter Screeners. A Charter Screener is a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) for Private Charter Flights.

Must be able to pass a 20 year FBI background check and airport badging requirements with no felonies.
Must be able to pass a DOT/FAA Drug Test and not have failed one within the last 2 years.
This is a W-2 position, Part-Time as needed with some Flexible hours, Paid Training, and Paid Travel. Hours will vary and are on demand with no guarantee of a certain number of hours per week. Salary is $17.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum pay.
Job Description:
Huntleigh USA provides off-site and airport-side private charter security, allowing passengers to gain security clearance and directly board their flight upon airport arrival. From professional and college sports teams to business travelers and cruise passengers, Private Charter Screening offers significant time savings and enhanced privacy. Transportation Security Officers must act professionally and courteously during the performance of their duties. Focus and awareness must be maintained despite high levels of noise, crowds, and other distractions.
Qualified candidates will be required to attend mandatory basic screening training and once certified will conduct security screening for designated charter flights from various airlines under the Transportation Security Administration Regulatory procedures. Each candidate must maintain sensitive security information and perform those tasks accordingly. TSOs are Responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage, on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications for this Position:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a 20-year FBI background check with no felonies
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and randoms throughout the time of employment including THC
- Must have a working Cell Phone and E-Mail account
- Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes as administered by Huntleigh USA Corp
- Must be flexible to work during NFL & NHL seasons.
- Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand English
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, night and day shifts
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must maintain personal appearance and hygiene
- Meet uniform standards as required
- May be required to frequently lift, bend, and/or move up to 25lbs
- Frequent standing and walking, which may be required for long periods in different weather conditions
- The work environment is indoor/outdoor.
- No facial piercings, No tattoos below the wrist or above the neck
- Possess the ability to obtain a SIDA Aviation badge. (You will need 2 forms of government-issued IDs, they must be valid and all names need to be exactly the same.)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Screening travelers in conjunction with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
- Gathering intelligence and searching for weapons, drugs, and other contraband that risk safe travel.
- Identifying and ceasing emerging transportation security threats by utilizing a variety of techniques and equipment to search travelers and luggage.
- Controlling passenger entry into security checkpoints.
- Reviewing passenger manifests against watch lists.
- Aircraft searches, passenger screening, baggage screening, and/or all.
- Treat all information as SSI/PII
- Follow all Airport Rules & Regulations set forth by Harry Reid Airport and Ramp security.
- Conduct physical searches and take proper action upon detection of a questionable or dangerous item.
