If you love transforming deep technical ideas into clear, compelling stories and want to do it inside a high-velocity cybersecurity startup, then this role is for you. You’ll be the engine behind a steady stream of high-quality content that shapes how the world understands our technology, our market, and the problems we solve. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work with brilliant technical minds to craft stories and bring complex security topics to life across formats.
This content role goes beyond “writing”. We’re looking for a strategic content marketer with an interest in how AI and emerging tools are changing marketing in 2025, and how content can ultimately drive pipeline and build brand trust.
What You Will Do
- Produce a consistent cadence of high-quality written content: blogs, explainers, guides, whitepapers, customer stories, and educational long-form pieces.
- Partner with security researchers, engineers, sales engineers, and product experts to surface insights and turn them into polished, compelling content.
- Maintain an editorial calendar that reflects key company priorities, product developments, and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Collaborate with the team on content operations end-to-end: drafting, editing, publishing, and SEO basics.
- Contribute content for the email newsletter, marketing emails, and key social channels while ensuring a consistent voice and high standard of storytelling across surfaces.
- Use AI and automation tools to accelerate research, creation, repurposing, and distribution while maintaining quality stands and a strong editorial point of view.
- Experiment with new content formats (short-form clips, diagrams, and interactive pieces) to bring stories to life in new, creative ways.
Requirements:
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of content marketing, technical writing, or editorial experience in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure technology.
- Strong subject-matter aptitude: you’re comfortable digging into technical workflows, asking the right questions, and understanding how things actually work.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills- concise, accurate, and capable of adapting tone to different audiences.
- A portfolio that shows range: deep-dive articles, crisp product content, and practitioner-oriented explanations.
- Ability to partner closely with technical experts and drive the content process independently, from idea to final draft.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup with shifting priorities- you enjoy the pace and take pride in producing excellent work quickly.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience writing for SOC teams, detection engineers, cloud security teams, or other practitioner-level audiences.
- Ability to create or lightly edit visuals, diagrams, or short-form videos.
- Experience working with freelancers or external writers.
- Familiarity with CMS workflows and basic SEO best practices.
